Cooked King Prawns
Sweet, succulent, and utterly moreish, prawns are one of the most versatile options on the seafood menu.
More commonly referred to as shrimp outside the UK and Commonwealth countries, anyone who’s seen Forrest Gump will know that there a million ways to eat these cute crustaceans.
We sell our sustainably caught prawns in a variety of ways from raw and whole to coated in a light and crispy tempura so you can enjoy them in whatever style tickles your fancy.
How to Cook
Our whole-cooked king prawns will make a perfect addition to an impressive seafood platter at your next dinner party.
What to Drink
Because prawns marry well with such a huge variety of flavours, there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to wine pairings.
Crisp white wines and dry rosés are your best bet, but it’s always a good idea to consider how your prawns have been cooked before making your selection.
Citrussy white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Rueda and White Rioja are the number one choice for garlic-heavy prawn dishes. Whereas prawns served in a retro cocktail will love an off-dry Riesling or fruity rosé.
