Frozen Red Snapper Portions
About
Price per Kilo.
What’s not to love about red snapper.
It’s exotic, it’s pink, its skin crisps up beautifully and it has a mildly sweet, firm, white flesh that goes with a huge variety of different flavours.
Red snapper is found all over the world but is generally harvested from warm waters in the Gulf of Mexico and around Indonesia.
It’s a low-calorie, high-protein fish that’s packed with Vitamins D and E and is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids.
How to Cook
Red snapper is a fish that loves to get fruity.
Once defrosted, simply pan fry or grill your frozen red snapper portions and serve with a punchy pineapple salsa that’s been treated to a good squeeze of lime and heat from red chilli.
What to Drink
Go for a medium to full-bodied white wine that’s high in aromatics such as a Dry Riesling or a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
