Soft Shell Crab
Soft shell crabs are crabs that have recently moulted their old shell and are pulled from the water before the new shell is able to harden.
They are simply delicious and perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the sweet and salty taste of crab meat without the fuss of having to extract it from its shell.
How to Cook
Soft shell crab is exceptional when coated in a light batter, deep fried until crispy and served with an Asian-style dipping sauce that’s packed with chilli, lime and coriander, or a wasabi mayonnaise.

Aromatic wines such as Pinot Grigio work a treat with soft shell crab.

All fresh fish should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of between 1 and 4°C and consumed by the date given on its packaging.
